Far away, so far away That's what you and I were. A figment of our imaginations, Some sort of dream from Neverland, Then somehow the stars aligned and our paths crossed. It was like the wind when it blows through the trees And causes them to sing and dance. Some kind of crazy whirlwind spinning out of control Dropping into a never-ending story. What an amazing moment when the walls fell And body and soul conjoined with the universe To create a new tomorrow for ourselves And the rest of the world. What genius the universe wrought When it designed the soul of us, And made the footprints we should walk in. We became the wind in our own souls, Singing new songs and dancing new dances As epic as the morning dawn And of galaxies yet to be discovered. © 2023 Loly Rinn Photo by Mike L on Unsplash
