Hope I thought I found it on the shores of your heart When the ship of my soul was crashing Against the rocks of life You were like a lighthouse leading to calm waters A safe place to anchor Respite for my spirit Hopeful When I anchored at you I thought it would be a long time But ships must sail when the wind blows And the sea calls like the ancient sirens My heart is no different I'm going to leave I have to go to the places no one says you can go I have to do what no one says you can do I was made for this Hopeless Maybe that's what you are now But there's a chance to come with me To the boundless oceans of the universe Let go of what you know and take the risk Sail with me to uncharted territory or stay I'm sailing away anyway © 2022 Loly Rinn Photo by Zoltan Tasi on Unsplash
