The room was dark
Shadows cornered
Dreams lost in black
A hope kept abound

Closed behind locked doors
No way to escape
Freedom gone in flight
A wish waiting to be granted

Gray walls crying
Peace lost in time
Vanish, vanishing
A strength to be strengthened
