Cemetery

I within a graveyard
Felt a peace there
Among the stone cards

I saw upon a tree
Sitting on a bough
An owl of prophecy

I heard not but silence
Echoing in the wind
A burial to hence

I realized in thought
That death rests here
Until duty is sought

I have met with death
But he does not wish
To take me just yet
